The Kensington Neighborhood is a registered neighborhood group with the Longmont Neighborhood Group Leaders Association (NGLA).
The boundaries of the Kensington Neighborhood are to the north: 9th Avenue, to the south: 3rd Avenue, to the east: Lashley Street, and to the west: Martin Street. Kensington Park runs north/south through the entirety of the Kensington Neighborhood.
Stay Informed!
Because Kensington is a registered neighborhood, the Kensington Neighborhood Group Leaders attend monthly informational meetings hosted by the Longmont Community and Neighborhood Resources team. At the monthly meetings, information is shared from city officials from various departments, including public safety, city council, planning, public works, parks and recreation, etc.

The Kensington Neighborhood annual meeting is open to all residents. The 2023 meeting will take place on Thursday September 28th from 5:30-7:30PM at the Kensington Park Pavilion.

Apply for community funding!
Registered neighborhood groups are eligible to apply for grants for funding of neighborhood improvement projects and neighborhood events and activities. Currently, registered neighborhood groups can also apply for grants through the Sustainable Neighborhood Solutions Program.
